Hannah and The Bean

Yesterday turned out to be a lovely day. My friend Katherine and her little daughter Hannah came down to visit. Hannah is 11 months old and is just a ball of cuteness. Katherine was also so kind as to bring me Cook Out for lunch. Yes Cook Out doesn't fall into my healthy eating, but tomorrow is a brand new day.

Once they got here Virginia was still napping. So I had a few minutes to enjoy Hannah before Virginia woke up. Hannah was all about checking out Virginia's toys and I believe she could start her own band.

Once Virginia woke up she was a little shocked at the new people in the living room. She was a little shy at first and wasn't to sure about Hannah. Hannah was all about Virginia and maybe the fact that she wanted Virginia's pacifier was another reason she kept making a fast break for Virginia. Virginia was not having it and kept climbing into my lap trying to get away. I just had to laugh that Hannah this little 11 month old ball of cuteness was scaring Virginia.

Here is an example of Virginia watching Nick Jr. in my
lap hoping that when she turns around Hannah will be gone.

But once Virginia learned that they both had a love for cooking and making loud noises. They were best buds and racing down the hall to her room to cook us up a meal. I laugh every time Virginia is around a younger child because she tends to revert back to being a baby. Hannah was crawling down the hallway to check out all the doors and Virginia was right behind her on all fours.

Duck anyone?

It was cute watching both of the kids playing together. And really nice to get to catch up with Katherine. The funny thing is that we are both SAHMs but it seems like we were able to see each other more when we were working and without kids. Definitely have to make it a point to get out more and see Katherine and Hannah more.
