Brecklen Gram

Wow it has been over five months since I have made a blog post. Alot has happened in the past five months. Virginia turned five years old. Hard to believe that my baby will be going to school this time next year. Also we welcomed Brecklen Gram into our family on December 11th. He decided to make a speedy entrance into this world.

So quick that I ended up having a natural birth. Yeah not on my birth plan at all. Never thought I would ever have a natural birth. Thankfully it was quick and Breck was born a healthy 8lbs 4oz and 21 inches long. We both are adjusting and getting into a routine. Thankfully Breck so far is a very easy going baby.

It does seem funny I have a son now. Some differences are you better change the diaper fast unless you like getting peed on. And instead of doing a load of pinks I am doing a load of blue and brown laundry now. But I am enjoying the journey and can't wait to watch him grow up. Crossing my fingers for a baseball player, just saying.

My friends have all been great and came and visited us. I say us but I think they really wanted to get their hands on Breck, baby fever and all. But it was great seeing everyone. And I have been lucky that friends and my sister have given us tons of hand me down clothes and toys.

We had a great New Year's Eve, even though I didn't realize it was NYE until the night of. We spent the night eating dinner out with friends. Then came home to relax on the couch and rung in the new year watching the ball drop on tv.

My goals for the new year is to knit more and continue to challenge myself to learn new craft things both in knitting and sewing. I also will add blog more to my new years goals.  I hope everyone had a wonderful New Year's Eve and Christmas.
