The concert was amazing. The energy level was out of this world. I had the best time and can honestly say this was the best New Year's Eve ever. I danced and sung the new year in. I know a little scary, me singing and dancing. But it was too much fun. And I got to enjoy it with my great boyfriend R. So I couldn't have asked for a better New Year's Eve.
Then the next day, New Year's Day, I enjoyed a great lunch at Chili's with my good friend, Katherine. I have not gotten to see her much since she has moved to Statesville with her husband Dan. So it was great getting a chance to catch up and have some gossip time. I know I am such a girl. But it was a great time. Katherine always keeps me down to earth and level headed. Katherine and my best friend Lisa do a great job at keeping me sane and giving me great advice. I don't know what I would do without either one of these women in my life.
Ok so I know you are all wondering what is up with the title of the entry. Well Wednesday January 2nd, on my way back into work I hit a deer with my brand new 2008 Mazda 3. My poor baby is hurt and in the shop now. Unfortunately the deer did not survive the accident. The deer managed to stumble its way into the woods to pass away peacefully. At least that is what I want to believe. It is funny I feel more sad and bad about hitting the deer. Then I do about the deer damaging my new car. I know I am silly. But I hate to think some little deer is waiting for it's mom to come home. OK I got to stop thinking about that.
So today I took my car in to get fixed. It has to stay over nite so I got to get a rental. Now keep in mind I drive a small 2008 Mazda 3. I have never driven anything bigger than that. What does the rental place give me, but a 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Yes I am driving a tank down the road. Be afraid very afraid. I like to call my new car, The Pimp Mobile. It is silver and the windows are tinted black. but the car does ride nicely. So I am happy and just trying to think positive thoughts about my future.
So to end this entry I have attached many photos of the concert, my car damage, and my new rental car. Enjoy and I hope your new year is starting off GREAT!

Hey Kid...that damage to your car is MINOR!!! That's nothing, you might not of even killed the deer, I mean you do drive like Mom and all! Unless you can claim hitting a tree, a pole, two cars (all at the same time I might add) and totaling $7500 worth of damage to a car 2 months off the showroom floor you've got nothing to worry about.
That was a nice dress you wore to the show. I couldn't see your shoes in that picture though, but from the knees up it looked good.
Oh yeah, one last thing...what's up with you referring to ya boy as "R"??? What is that like his new code name? Hmmm...is she talking about Reiggin or maybe Randy oh no don't forget about Robert....
Peace out,
"S"
