My Mother....

Mother's Day is coming up this weekend. I try my best though out the year to show my love to my mom and not just on one special day. It still feels funny that I get to take part in this day as a mommy along side my mother. I still feel like that immature little kid that lives with my parents and wants so badly to sleep past noon. Then I see Virginia my daughter running around the house like a crazy kid. Then it hits me I am a mommy. I am responsible for this crazy kid that is wrecking my house. Also that I would do anything and lay down my life for this little girl.

My mother has been the best role model for me though out the years. It still amazes me that she raised all three of us girls. She worked a full time job, made us breakfast, and had dinner on the table every day. She also still loves me enough to still invite me to come home every weekend to see her. Now maybe it is more to see Virginia, but I know she loves me too. I just hope that as the years go by that I will get closer to being as good as a mom as my mother was to me.

So I just want to say how much I love you Mom and thanks for putting up with me for all these years. I would also like to wish all my friends that are now moms a Happy Mother's Day!
